The Christmas Fayre Menu at The Farmers Boy Inn is a delightful selection of festive dishes crafted to bring the warmth and joy of the holiday season to your dining experience. Availavle from Tuesday 26th Novermber all the way up to Christmas Eve, it starts with an array of entrées, such as Roast Butternut Squash, Chestnut & Bramley Apple Soup, served with rustic bread and butter, or Baked Cranberry & Brie Tartlets, set on a festive salad. Seafood lovers can indulge in Freshwater Prawns & Ripe Avocado, accompanied by a homemade Marie Rose sauce.

For the mains, the menu offers traditional favorites like a Succulent Roast Crown of Turkey with homemade pork and chestnut stuffing, or for seafood fans, a Pan-Fried Fillet of Seabass topped with crabmeat butter and served over scallion creamed potatoes. Meat lovers can also enjoy a Homemade Shortcrust Turkey & Gammon Pie in a creamy white wine and sage sauce, while vegetarians will delight in the Baked Individual Vegetarian Wellington, filled with parsnips, oyster mushrooms, and samphire.

To end the meal on a sweet note, guests can choose from delicious desserts, including an Individual Christmas Plum & Brandy Pudding served with brandy butter sauce, or a decadent Sticky Chocolate & Orange Cake paired with vanilla ice cream. Creamy Profiteroles filled with cream and topped with smooth chocolate sauce are also available to satisfy any sweet tooth.

The menu is available in 1 course (£21.95), 2 courses (£25.95), or 3 courses (£28.95), ensuring there’s a perfect option for everyone. For seniors, a special version of the menu is offered from 12pm to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, with 2 courses for £17.99 and 3 courses for £21.99.
